Benefits of a diverse workforce

Research suggests:

1. Most employees and employers want a diverse workplace

2. Culturally diverse workplaces outperform other workplaces

3. Culturally diverse workplaces are more likely to be innovation leaders

4. Are more likely to understand and capture a diverse range of target markets

5. Cultural diversity helps close the Gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. Connection to culture across all facets of life is linked to an increase in positive life outcomes for Indigenous people.

“Just emailing to say how great Jonathan and Aunt Norma were. I really appreciate what you did in getting everything together at the last minute for us. The didgeridoo playing was wonderful and we had a go at the dancing too. Excellent for our international visitors.”

About us

Yuludarla Karulbo is an Indigenous youth and community run social enterprise and winner of the 2017  Foundation for Young Australians Young Social Pioneers Program.

We share Indigenous culture and connect communities, schools and businesses through interactive cultural capability workshops, performances and technology. Our workshops are delivered by Indigenous youth and Elders. Each workshop we deliver provides opportunities for our young facilitators to share their culture, connect with the wider community and undertake training to suit their aspirations.

At this time we deliver workshops in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. We are expecting to expand to new locations soon.
